（彼らは）クリニックをするために名古屋に来ました。せっかく名古屋に来るならライブをしましょう！という事でこのライブが実現したわけです。
曲はほとんどJeffのオリジナル。とても素敵でチャレンジングな曲ばかりでした。
ですがこれがかなり難しく…僕も北川(b)も演奏前に非常に緊張…。

でも音楽が始まってしまうと緊張はどこへやら。とても楽しく充実したライブになりました。
改めて解ったこと…『Yappari GOOD MUSICIAN to Issho ni Yareba GOOD
MUSIC wa Kantan ni Dekiru!』Jeff、Joel、ありがとう！

On Feb. 9th, Mr. Kitagawa (bass) and I had occasion to play with two fine musicians from Los Angeles. Guitarist Jeff Richman and drummer Joel Taylor were in Nagoya to give a clinic at the Koyo Music School and a performance was arranged for that evening at Jazz Inn LOVELY (the Mother of all jazz clubs in Nagoya).

The tunes were almost entirely originals by Mr. Richman and were quite challenging. With only an hour to rehearse for more than two hours of performance Kitagawa and I were a bit apprehensive before the show but, once things got started, we quickly settled down and had a night of great music and great fun.

Once again it brought home what I already knew - when you play with good musicians, it's easy to make good music.
